Tragedy, chaos, and hopelessness are so easy to find. One doesn't need to look far to see the evil that engulfs every inch of the earth. What seems like God's silence, is really an outpouring of God's grace and mercy for HIS people.
The reason why so many do not recognize God, is because few actually know who HE is and what HE stands for! The ONLY way to learn about God is through reading his word and developing a personal relationship with HIM. We tend to humanize The Creator, by believing he operates like us; HE does not. If God were to display his wrath or consequences upon the earth today, none would be saved! His patience is disguised as time. Time is paramount to discovering the truth about others as well as ourselves. This discovery leads to repentance and growth.
Let me clue you in on a little secret: DISORDER is part of the process. In a way, it serves as a litmus test for every believer. One of the reasons I am often transparent about my flaws and challenges is because its MY test. I test people by revealing the worst about myself on purpose because I am attentive to who uplifts me or speaks words of healing and comfort into my life. This hold more value than any THING a person has ever gave me. How they respond exposes who they truly are, what they genuinely think about me and how they view the indigent. Its a key indicator of who is my real friend, and who are just folks I pass along the way. Now is the traditional season of giving, and many will give gifts and things to a variety of people this holiday season, including the needy. Do you think this represents true friendship? In the bible, Johnathan was deemed a true friend to David but not for what he gave him. Authentic friendship is based on trust...not things.
"Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness- and he was called a friend of God" James 2:23
The Tree of Life
In a way, God too test HIS people daily! He is exposing the threat actors; pretenders who say they serve God but if you look closely, you will discover there is nothing Godly about them at all. In fact, they are self serving and only concerned with increasing their treasures on earth. This is what we are observing in our world today- God's litmus test. The unveiling of good vs easy. Right vs Wrong. Angels vs Demons. The word of God says we are to judge a tree by the fruit that it bears. This tree and its fruit can be taken in both literal and figurative context. Fruit does not represent dollar signs. It has nothing to do with superficialities at all. Wealth is a worldly desire... God is more concerned with your character score, than your credit score.
"By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" Matthew 7:16
"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven" Matthew 19:23
GRACE and Time
Negativity is so normalized these days that hate is easier than love. However, hate is not an attribute of The Creator or those who love HIM. It is imperative to recognize and appreciate time because it is a bridge to repentance and salvation.
"Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness"
1 John 2:9-17
"If anyone says 'I love God' and hates his brother, he is a liar." 1 John 4:20
"Hate what is evil" Psalm 97:10
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
